Why We Give
Giving your tithes and your offerings is an act of Worship unto the Lord. We HONOR God with our substance. We are called to give our first which is 10% of our income back to God. (Deuteronomy 14:22 NLT “You must set aside a tithe of your crops—one-tenth of all the crops you harvest each year.") Giving your tithes and your offerings is as an act of obedience unto the Lord as God has called us to give Him our first and our best in His Word. God rewards our obedience and generosity in return.
