In Judges 3:1-2; God did not allow Joshua to totally defeat all of the

inhabitants of the promise land. God in His wisdom, understood and knew

that the generation that was coming behind Joshua did not know war. They

had a “take care of me and protect me mentality.” How can you protect, guard

and steward the promise land from any enemy if you have never experienced

any war or engaged in conflict whereby becoming a skilled warrior. The

scriptures say, “that God is a man of war.” Then His people must be a people

of war. To be a steward of God, you must become a warrior of God.
