The Sabbath is not primarily about inactivity, it is about living from

confidence that God has finished His work. Therefore, everything about you

and concerning you is complete. The Sabbath began before sin came into the

world. It was because rest was broken by the manipulation of unbelief that

lead to disobedience that sin was abe to enter into the world. God rested as a

result of His creative work was complete. God did not rest because He was not

tired, He rested because there was nothing else for Him to create in the

spheres of man.
