James says, “if a person allows endurance and steadfastness and patience to

do a thorough work in them, it will bring the person to a place of maturity."

And they will become fully developed without any defects in their character.

So impatience is the counter part of patience. It reveals an undeveloped

character with defects. It is the unwillingness to remain steadfast in trusting

God and being self-controlled. While not waiting for God’s timing and not

enduring difficulty, and not willing to deal with disgruntled people.
