Intentionally Being Like Jesus Explained Part II

How do you measure a person’s love, loyalty and commitment? Is it by them repeating everything you say or is it by doing everything that you ask them to do? Jesus said, “why call me Lord, Lord; when you don’t do what I ask you to do?” Jesus was telling them that they were self-deceived in their relationship with Him because they didn’t do what He said. Their  relationship with Him was a form and had no substance.  You cannot trust nor rely on those who disobey your words. Your love is revealed in your obedience and your obedience reveals your measure of legitimate authority.
