A Kingdom Of Servant Leaders

James 4:6 (AMP)

"But He gives us more and more grace (power of the Holy Spirit, to meet this evil tendency and all others fully). That is why He says, God sets Himself against the proud and haughty, but gives grace [continually] to the lowly (those who are humble enough to receive it)."

2 Timothy 2:20-22 (NKJV)

"But in a great house, there are not only vessels of gold and silver, but also of wood and clay, some for

honor and some for dishonor. 21: Therefore if anyone cleanses himself from the latter, he will be a vessel for honor, sanctified and useful for the Master, prepared for every good work."

Jeremiah 22:6 (AMPC)

"For thus says the Lord concerning the house of the king of Judah: [If you will not listen to Me, though]

you are [as valuable] to Me as [the fat pastures of] Gilead [east of the Jordan] or as the [plentiful] summit of Lebanon [west of the Jordan], yet surely I will make you a wilderness and uninhabited cities."

Matthew 18:3-4 (AMP)

And said, Truly I say to you, unless you repent (change, turn about) and become like little children

[trusting, lowly, loving, forgiving], you can never enter the kingdom of heaven [at all]. 4: Whoever will humble himself therefore and become like this little child [trusting, lowly, loving, forgiving] is greatest in the kingdom of heaven."

(VOICE):

Jesus: This is the truth: unless you change and become like little children, you will never enter the kingdom of

heaven. 4: In that kingdom, the most humble who are most like this child are the greatest. 5: And whoever welcomes a child, welcomes her in My name, welcomes Me.

Matthew 23:11 (PHILLIPS)

The only ‘superior’ among you is the one who serves the others. For every man who promotes

himself will be humbled, and every man who learns to be humble will find promotion.

(MSG):

“Do you want to stand out? Then step down. Be a servant. If you puff yourself up, you’ll get the wind knocked out of you. But if you’re content to simply be yourself, your life will count for plenty.

(VOICE):

"If you are recognized at all, let it be for your service. Delight in the one who calls you servant."

Mark 9:35 (CEV):

"After Jesus sat down and told the twelve disciples to gather around him, he said, “If you want the place of

honor, you must become a slave and serve others!”

(VOICE):

"He sat down with the twelve to teach them. Jesus: Whoever wants to be first must be last, and whoever wants to be the greatest must be the servant of all."
