Humility: The Greatest Attribute To Greatness Part II

In the Book of Colossians; Paul warns us of the operation and manipulation of false humility. Because it is deceptive and draws people away from Christ and points people to self. Paul also shares with us what biblical humility looks like in Hebrews 12:2. First, I must have the prize that God offers set before me daily which is Christ Jesus. I must want Him more than anything or anyone. Then, I must not allow myself to be distracted by my assigned cross and assigned shame. I do this by my willingness to look away from these things and myself counting all things as dung that I may apprehend Christ who is God’s prize to me.
