Tabernacle: God Wants To Dwell With His People Part II
Sep 29, 2026 • Apostle Emanu-el J. McKenzie
Tabernacle points to Jesus; God Tabernacled among us. The eternal Word
became flesh and tabernacled among us. In the wilderness, God’s glory
occupied a tent, but In Christ, God’s glory was revealed in a Person, Jesus
who is our Emmanuel. Tabernacle declares, “God wants to be WITH His
people.” Jesus declares God has come to be IN His people. This takes
Tabernacle beyond a historical celebration. The principle becomes; God desires a people in whom He can dwell. Tabernacle combines two great biblical themes; Presence and Harvest. The presence of God should never make the Church inward focused. His presence empowers His mission. We encounter God and then carry His presence into the harvest.
