The Function of Man Part III

2 Corinthians 11:3: But I fear, lest somehow, as the serpent deceived Eve by his craftiness, so your minds may be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ. 

This scripture reveals the goal of all satanic manipulation against humanity which is to corrupt the mind of mankind from the simplicity that is in Christ Jesus. And every time we yield to the temptation to please ourselves in any capacity, we corrupt ourselves. That is why the Bible put so much emphasis on denying ourselves and dying to ourselves. Until we make a decision to live this kind of life, we will never experience the Holy Spirit in all His essence because self incarcerates and restrict Him.
