Repentance, Conversion & Obedience Part III

The number one enemy that hinders our relationship with God, the Lord Jesus and the Holy Spirit, is our flesh. Which we govern by the law, sin and death. The source of all sin that leads to death: which is separation from God is selfishness, self-centeredness and self-gratification. So for me to live for God, I must be willing to renounce this self life. To deny myself, I must be willing to die to it by depriving its desires and will. Then and only then can I genuinely repent, return to God and obey Him and then be converted.
