Self Examination for Elevation

I was experiencing some frustrations from certain situations that the Lord allowed me to be in. As believers, if we believe that God orders our steps, why are we moved by uncomfortable situations that the Lord orders? Then the Lord challenged me to read 2 Corinthians 13:5; for me to see where was I personally located in the light of His Word. The Lord asked me to examine, test, evaluate and prove that Jesus is in me. Have I realized and do I know thoroughly by an ever-increasing experience that Jesus is in me? If so, why the frustration? Either I trust the Lord by relying on Him or be moved by unfavorable or uncomfortable circumstances. Which is the test and the trial that I don’t like. So the question is, “am I a counterfeit, am I disapproved, have I been rejected because of my frustrations? Hence, this reveals that I did not turn to Christ in me to be my hope of glory.
