Reset & Realign In God's Authority

In Matthew 21:23; the Jewish leaders of the day questioned Jesus about where did He get His authority from to preach the gospel, to heal the sick, and to cast out demons. They wanted to know if Jesus authority was legal. The Jewish leaders understood authority and they knew they didn’t give Jesus His authority. Not one of the Jewish leaders ever did the things that Jesus did. So is it legal or illegal? The same is with all of humanity; is our authority legal or illegal?
