The Fight In This Life

2 Timothy 4:7|I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. NKJV

2 Timothy 4:7|This is the only race worth running. I’ve run hard right to the finish, believed all the way. MSG

1. Fight: To attempt to harm or gain power over an adversary by blows or with weapons.

1 Timothy 6:12|Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, to which you were also called and have confessed the good confession in the presence of many witnesses. NKJV

Joshua 10:24-25|So it was, when they brought out those kings to Joshua, that Joshua called for all the men of Israel, and said to the captains of the men of war who went with him, Come near, put your feet on the necks of these kings. And they drew near and put their feet on their necks. 25 Then Joshua said to them, Do not be afraid, nor be dismayed; be strong and of good courage, for thus the Lord will do to all your enemies against whom you fight. 1 Corinthians 9:25-27|Now every athlete who goes into training conducts himself temperately and restricts himself in all things.
