The Kind Of Prayer That Births Revival Part II

Sep 28, 2025    Apostle Emanu-el J. McKenzie

Jesus asked Simon Peter a question that He is asking us today His Bride, “why is it that this woman whose sins are very great has demonstrated love towards me more than you?” How is it that you have been chosen by God to be my disciple and you have not loved me the way this lady has displayed her love towards me? All of us must answer this question, especially those of us that have some kind of position of authority in the Church. As it was with Peter, it is also with us. Is it possible, our identity in our positions, our gifts, and our talents has blinded us from the gravity of our true sinful condition which distorts our true identity in our union with Christ? We will never ask for forgiveness if we don’t see that we need to be forgiven, therefore placing less value on Jesus and His death. Light has come into our world. Peter’s darkness did not comprehend the Light but the woman comprehended the Light and saw the greatness of her sins and was so grateful and thankful for her forgiveness.
