There is Power in the Resurrection of Jesus Christ

Luke 24:1-7 (NLT)
"But very early on Sunday morning the women came to the tomb, taking the spices
they had prepared. They found that the stone covering the entrance had been rolled aside. So they
went in, but they couldn’t find the body of the Lord Jesus. They were puzzled, trying to think what could
have happened to it. Suddenly, two men appeared to them; clothed in dazzling robes. The women
were terrified and bowed low before them. Then the men asked, “Why are you looking in a tomb for
someone who is alive? He isn’t here! He has risen from the dead! Don’t you remember what He told
you back in Galilee, that the Son of Man must be betrayed into the hands of sinful men and be
crucified, and that he would rise again the third day?”

1 Peter 1:3-9 (AMPC)
"Praised (honored, blessed) be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ (the
Messiah)! By His boundless mercy we have been born again to an ever-living hope through the
resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, [Born anew] into an inheritance which is beyond the reach
of change and decay [imperishable], unsullied and unfading, reserved in heaven for you, Who are
being guarded (garrisoned) by God’s power through [your] faith [till you fully inherit that final]
salvation that is ready to be revealed [for you] in the last time. [You should] be exceedingly glad on
this account, though now for a little while you may be distressed by trials and suffer temptations, So
that [the genuineness] of your faith may be tested, [your faith] which is infinitely more precious than
the perishable gold which is tested and purified by fire. [This proving of your faith is intended] to
redound to [your] praise and glory and honor when Jesus Christ (the Messiah, the Anointed One) is
revealed. Without having seen Him, you love Him; though you do not [even] now see Him, you
believe in Him and exult and thrill with inexpressible and glorious (triumphant, heavenly) joy. {At the
same time] you receive the result (outcome, consummation) of your faith, the salvation of your souls."

Philippians 3:10 (AMPC)
"{For my determined purpose is] that I may know Him [that I may progressively become more deeply and intimately acquainted with Him, perceiving and recognizing and understanding the wonders of His Person more strongly and more clearly], and that I may in that same way come to know the power outflowing from His resurrection [which it exerts over believers], and that I may so share His sufferings as to be continually transformed [in spirit into His likeness even] to His death, [in the hope]."

Romans 1:4,5 (NLT)
"And Jesus Christ our Lord was shown to be the Son of God when God powerfully
raised Him from the dead by means of the Holy Spirit. Through Christ He has given us the privilege and
authority to tell Gentiles everywhere what God has done for them, so that they will believe and obey
him, bringing glory to his name."

Romans 4:25 (NLT)
"He was handed over to die because of our sins, and He was raised from the dead to
make us right with God."
